Terms of Service

Welcome to ScuttleBuddy ("the Bot"), a League of Legends companion bot for Discord. By adding ScuttleBuddy to your server, using its commands, or registering your Riot ID, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Bot.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

By using ScuttleBuddy, you affirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and possess the legal authority to agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ScuttleBuddy provides League of Legends game statistics, automated weekly leaderboards, match recaps, random champion generators, and server "meme stats." Features may change, be modified, or be discontinued at any time without prior notice.

3. Riot Games Disclaimer & Compliance

  • ScuttleBuddy isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing League of Legends. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. League of Legends © Riot Games, Inc.
  • Users must comply with Riot Games' own Terms of Service. Any manipulation of data or attempt to exploit the Riot Games API through ScuttleBuddy is strictly prohibited.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or exploit the Bot's infrastructure, code, or data polling mechanisms.
  • Use the Bot to harass, abuse, or spam other Discord users.
  • Use automated scripts or self-bots to mass-trigger ScuttleBuddy commands.

5. Limitation of Liability

ScuttleBuddy is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The developers make no warranties regarding API uptime, data accuracy from Riot Games, or Discord service stability. In no event shall the developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Bot.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to ScuttleBuddy, block your Discord account or server from using the Bot, or delete your registered data at our sole discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after updates are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
